The Wine
Domaine
The domain has approximately
70 hectares of land, of which 52 hectares are wine
producing vineyards. The grape varieties are a mix
of the traditional grapes – Syrah, Grenache
and Muscat. The owners are gradually adding to the
range, with reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
and Pinot Noir and whites like Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Domaine
de Beaumont Wines The nine holiday villas are
situated at the heart of a working wine domain.
The family owners of the Domaine de Beaumont run
a successful tourist holiday centre as well as
a flourishing vineyard and winery.
Esprit
méditerranéen
Antoine Bastide d’Izard, the eldest son
of the family, took over the running of the wine
enterprise in 2002.
Whilst Antoine retained the best parts of traditional
winemaking, he quickly started to introduce a
more modern approach.
The first results were easy to see, a brand new
identity, with the legend Esprit méditerranéen
– Spirit of the Mediterranean, used extensively
on all the bottles and labels.
Wine Tasting Holidaymakers have the opportunity
to share the experience.
During your stay
with Beaumont Holidays you will have the chance
to taste the fine excellent wines produced on
the domain. The family offer a warm welcome to
a special free soirée of wine tasting at
the Wine Bar in the restaurant.
This is a chance for guests to
judge for themselves just how good the wine is.
And later, there is also the chance to buy wine
from their wine stock.
A New Way
New technology was also introduced, with a large
investment in new wine making equipment, including
large stainless steel vats, a bottle labelling and
corking line and the latest in wine chilling systems.
Success
Using this mix of traditional experience and new
technology has been a great success and wine from
Domaine de Beaumont is now sold all over the world.
The team of people who work to ensure the highest
quality of wine are dedicated to the wine’s
success.
Their hard work has been rewarded many times,
including when wine from Domaine de Beaumont was
awarded a coveted prize at the International Wine
Challenge exhibition.
